Hey guys!! Remember how I mentioned in my review of Esme’s wish that I have tests this week? Well… that is very true but I did manage to read two books during the weekend; one of which is The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven!
I’m part of the street team for this book so I was able to get an e-ARC and you guys… THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!! I’m not just saying that because I got a free book. My honest opinion of this book is that it’s an amazing, funny and feminist novel with a lot of girl power. Also, this book has some diverse characters; there’s a lesbian Nepali girl, a black guy and a disabled girl! I love how unsterotyped the author made them.
I won’t be possibly facing failure in my tests (by writing this post) if this book wasn’t good.
This is my first time ever doing this meme and it was created by Breaking the Spine!!
First, all about it!

Izzy O’Neil is an aspiring comedian, an impoverished orphan, and a Slut Extraordinaire. Or at least that’s what the malicious website flying around the school says. Izzy can try all she wants to laugh it off — after all, her sex life, her terms — but when pictures emerge of her doing the dirty with a politician’s son, her life suddenly becomes the centre of a national scandal. Izzy’s never been ashamed of herself before, and she’s not going to start now. But keeping her head up will take everything she has.
